Fellows of St. Paul met for the first time last January 24 with the project coordinator in St. Paul and with the head of Cenfirc. At this first meeting will be followed by other periodicals also to establish frequent contact with students of Bracciano

Dear update you on project activities "Pè No Chão" 25 January 2009.

1) The photo exhibition in Bracciano
The exhibition on the project was put into effect thanks to the sponsorship of Bracciano and in particular the Council for Migration Policy (Lourdes and Patrick Valenzuela Guastini) Institute of Higher Education Luca Pacioli (Paola Tonna and Mario Sasso); alderman Educating School for Social Policy (Elena Carone Fabiani); gender policies (Paolo Lucci); alderman Policies of Public Works (Antonio de Santis); alderman Policies Cultural (Giampiero Nardelli), due also to the Province of Rome and in particular Alderman for Social Policy and the Office of the Central Council Proviciale.

exposure of photos and tables prepared by the students of the Institute Luca Pacioli IGEA period lasted one month as had been expected (from 9 December 2008-5 January 2009) and has served to raise awareness among students, the ' public awareness and raise funds for a scholarship (the collection is still ongoing and it is believed to reach EUR 1,000).

2) The awareness-raising activities in Bracciano
The student awareness of the "Luca Pacioli" continue in the coming months through conferences and contact paulistani correspondence with the fellows that we are organizing.

to continue educating the public, we are contacting the two websites (the town of Bracciano and the newspaper "agony") who have already published articles about the exhibition in order to identify the opportunities and how to publish periodically photographic documentation (eg. the 100 panels of the exhibition) and information on the developments of the project (I am attaching the file to guide you in search of items).

3) Fellows of St. favelados Paul.
On 24 January took place in the favelas, the first meeting of the fellows paulistani with Anna (project coordinator in Brazil) Sister Jacqueline (responsible for CenFIRC) and Jucimara (psychologist), I am attaching some photos. I reproduce below an excerpt from the report of the meeting written by Anna.
"It 'was explained the project Pé no Chão, very simply and they were very happy to know that people from Brazil and Italy were willing to help. Later, each was presented, said a bit 'self, of course that would begin to attend and study or work. We asked them what they expect from the course and all unanimously replied that they wish to qualify and have better job opportunities. They know other boys and girls who have did the course and have now entered the world of work. When asked "why do you think you are privileged, because the test is difficult and they are gone, while their colleagues no", they replied that they have a lot of willpower, who initially studied a lot and maybe they more easily than their colleagues in certain areas. They said that all are determined and have led from the start value to the course very seriously and apply from the first time. We have noted that they have already overcome a big hurdle, but now he has another because, in addition to the course and will be committed from Monday to Friday, everybody school and other courses and some work. E 'stressed the importance of not desist at the first hurdle, not to get caught up in idleness and weariness of not getting up early in the morning. E 'stressed the importance of other young people across Italy are helping them and they were happy and wanted to know. Hence, there was a meeting scheduled monthly on the last Saturday of each month to discuss topics related to Italy, to exchange ideas on the two countries and to know the boys of the Italian school. We have made available to them for any difficulties or problems they had encountered and in the end we prayed together for the Lord can accompany them throughout 2009.

The next meeting will be Feb. 28 from 10 to 11 at the Cenfirc. The idea is to present them something of the Italian school and boys. Maybe even a picture of them. You may send photos of the Italian boys Brazilians who send in the Annex. And you could start with an initial exchange of letters, then realize a magazine or something like that since the Cenfirc does not have much infrastructure to be made available. Just as I
Jucimara we are very impressed with the boys, there seemed to be highly motivated, intelligent and well prepared. And with our monthly presence at the first set I think there is someone who can support them. To I think this is positive. "

I hope you did not forget anything important, I remain available to supplement or correct the information and any clarification to an important and highest circulation of news and information among us .

A cordial greetings and best wishes to all and especially to the ten fellows paulistani Monday, January 26 that started the school year.

Roman Angels.
