Triple Pelvic Osteotomymaryland

invited to the student-IGEA with Dr. Luca Pacioli. Kanu

I can tell you that the conference / meeting students IGEA Institute with Dr. Luca Pacioli. James Kanu will be held May 5 in the classroom-magna the Institute at 11:00.

At the end of his introduction, Dr. Kanu part in the debate by responding to questions and commenting on the three interventions argomernti object of the meeting. The debate will be coordinated by Proff.sa E. Zacchaeus (a professor of economic geography and business administration)

interventions and questions are being prepared by the students and teachers dell'IGEA-Luca Pacioli (NB. some of them have chosen these topics examination as a matter of maturity), but it is well appreciated the participation of fellows paulistani, partners and friends of the project (Brazilians and Italians). Comments and / or questions should be sent by e-mail, not later than May 3, 2009 at romanoangeli@yahoo.com or defendants in the bottom of this post.

The topics of the meeting are:
1) what are the criteria for measuring the welfare and / or wealth of a country, what do we need especially now that we are experiencing a global economic crisis; because they are used daily (eg. GDP) but also harshly criticized (they are misleading?)

2) some days ago Muhammad Yunus (Economist, "Banker to the Poor", Nobel for peace) during surgery to Cariplo Foundation has announced its partnership with Unicredit and the University of Bologna to inaugurate the "Grameen Bank Italy" (see www.grameen.com) and just recently he released his latest in libraries book "A World Without Poverty" (White Line Feltrinelli). E 'can revolutionize the current business and decadent ruling that is destroying the major Western economies with the "social business" (with capital investment without dividends!) Invented and successfully tested by Yunus and his students?

3) what are the risks that exist in reality in which "live" situations drastically different economic and social (neighborhoods of luxury next to favelas), the favelas are areas to be processed (see eg. with the "Bank of the Poor" by Yunus) or leave?. The ten fellows paulistani, we are helping with our project, it should remain in their favela without giving in to corruzzione and risking a lot (in some cases even life) or should "run away" as soon as possible?

a very cordial greeting awaiting your comments / contribution.

Roman Angels.

How Long Do Panasonic Batteries Last

INFO 08 of 15 April 2009

In the regular monthly meeting on March 28 with Anna (project coordinator in Brazil) fellows have become aware of school activities, have confessed to concerns that their families will encounter with the teachers (all the world over ...) and have expressed interest with the discovery of their city with guided tours (some of them do not knew of the existence of underground ...). E 'in preparation for the meeting with their teachers and students Braccianese with Dr.. J. Kanu (economist and former UN official).

From Brazil I received phone calls and e-mail requesting more information of concern and solidarity with the earthquake in Italy.

Si ha dato ringrazia chi and chi will suggerimenti per migliorare issues blog.
Carissimi saw aggiornamento sulle attività del progetto "down to earth, al 15 aprile 2009.

1) Borsisti slum di S. Paolo. Il 28 marzo

s'è svolto l'incontro dei nostri Mensile borsisti (Edson R. Emanuel Gonçalves Ribeiro Pereira Jaelson Miranda, Jessica Maria dos Santos Batista, Nathaly, Jurandir Castro da Silva, Fabiola dos Santos Matos, Vanuza de Oliveira, Francisco Paulo Ferreira de Lima, Juliana de Noronha Bueno, Rafael Pereira da Silva) avec Anna (coordinatrice del progetto in Brasile), Mr. Giacomina (responsabile of CenFIRC), Sr. Anna (director of the school CenFIRC) to absent (Jurandir, Rafael and Fabio) will be asked for a valid reason under penalty of expulsion from the course. I reproduce below an excerpt from the report of the meeting written by Anna.

"In April there will be meetings of teachers with parents. All pupils were worried because they can not attend and the teachers say to parents or those responsible (for those without parents) as their children are going, what are the difficulties and strengths. If the parents or persons in charge do not show up (without valid justification and written), must pay a fine and the boys can not return to lessons before the parents to submit to the school.

We asked people how their relationship with their parents or those responsible. Most said they take the parents updated on the activities undertaken by school teachers, friends etc.. In some cases parents closely monitor their children's activities, in other cases less.

Another aspect that the boys have found interesting is that the card must be stamped daily entry and exit school. For them it is important because they prepare to work. They can not be late for them and this is a great responsibility. For any delay or failure there are penalties as Community work, extra hours in the classroom etc.. The discipline is very strict.

Girls like behavior and deportment lessons. At least once a week the teachers help students to better understand what is the behavior that must be at work, during an interview, the clothes more appropriate to use, etc. ...

From the first weeks of the course the boys were divided into working groups and meet on weekends with their peers in school to do the work collective. This is interesting because the friends live in distant neighborhoods and they have to take buses, metro and know how to move in the vast metropolis that is Sao Paulo. In addition to work out and the teachers organize group visits to exhibitions and major points of the city. Those who participated in the design of two-year design, others were in the city center, others at the Museum of the Portuguese language and Art Gallery. This encourages their independence. There are guys who have never been to the city center and others who did not know the subway.

The next meeting will be April 25.

2) Meetings between students IGEA / Luca Pacioli with Dr. Bracciano. J. Kanu

E 'in preparation for a meeting pupils dell'IGEA / Luca Pacioli with their teachers and dr. James Kanu (economist and former UN official). The meeting should continue and deepen the themes of earlier research done by the students themselves, important topics, especially in this time of global economic crisis such as the criteria used to measure the well-being (eg GDP), current affairs and their scientific, New UN gauges, etc. .. I do not rule can also talk about the experience of Muhammad Yunus (Economist, "Banker to the Poor", Nobel Peace Prize) who recently started in Italy and that we can face the dilemma of our fellows of St. Paul: should remain in their favela without giving in to corruzzione and risking a lot (in some cases even their lives) or "run away" as soon as possible?

3) Awareness raising activities in Bracciano

The information activities and awareness-raising continues through our blog: www.penochaoromano.blogspot.com which shall be constantly updated. Thanks to comments and suggestions I proceeded to make changes: I added links that allow you to explore some issues just mentioned, I have "broken" into two parts the lyrics "too long" and of little interest to the layman, I added some photos, in fact I'm trying to make it more suitable to the objectives of the project. I would be really grateful if continuaste to send me suggestions (NB: I apologize if I had to put a filter on the comments on the post to avoid comments that are published out of place as already happened).

I hope I have not forgotten anything important, I remain available to supplement or correct the information and any clarification to an important and highest circulation of news and information between us.

A dear greeting from Roman Angels.
